It is originally designed for making prosthetic limbs for amputees (a sideline of mine). By comparison with the urethane A30 & A40 I use for the X-Soft and Soft compounds I would guess the XPG is about a Shore A20. I stopped comparing to S and NSR tires years ago when my cars were first beaten by local racers making their own urethane tires.

The weak areas seem to be around the rear axle bearing supports. The NSR 3004 Shark 20,000 RPM Universal Motor 20K is the motor I'd pick for home racing if I had to pick one.
